Angels bullpen provides no
relief in extra-inning loss

Darin Erstad drove home Adam Kennedy with a single in the top of the 10th, but reliever Brendan Donnelly couldn't hold on to the 3-2 lead. The loss wasted a strong outing from starter Jarrod Washburn, who allowed one earned run in 6 1/3 innings.

Floyd is the hero
with walk-off homer in 10th

Cliff Floyd crushed a three-run home run in the bottom of the 10th, marking the second comeback of the night for the Mets. Just one inning earlier, pinch-hitter Marlon Anderson had tied the game with his first career inside-the-park home run.
